Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will serve as a subject matter expert, train new hires, and mentor team members while ensuring efficient, compliant service.

The role requires setup of PAP devices, maintenance checks, and accurate documentation. A driver’s license is required and care will be delivered across our service areas with HIPAA adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and fitting of PAP devices and masks, and guide patients.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment per policy.
• Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets, safety checklists, and equipment forms.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Promote AdaptHealth services to referral sources and care teams.
