Job summary

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital settings, ensuring patients receive appropriate respiratory equipment and services efficiently.

The role includes training new staff, mentoring teammates, and coordinating with CPAP/BIPAP program managers to optimize patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with equipment maintenance or repair is preferred.
• Experience in Medicare certified HME environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff to provide equipment instruction and troubleshooting.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with equipment and masks with clear instructions.
• Conduct follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment failures per policy.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and complete required paperwork accurately.
