AdaptHealth seeks a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will train staff, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure timely, accurate documentation while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The role requires equipment repair skills, basic medical knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Expect interactions with patients, clinicians, and referral sources, along with ongoing training and branch collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in construction, manual labor, military or equipment repair considered related experience.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff to provide equipment instruction, service and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with equipment and masks, communicating instructions professionally.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes and contact clinical support when urgent needs arise.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and simple repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
