Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will train staff, troubleshoot PAP equipment, and ensure patient satisfaction while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, follow-up visits, and collaboration with respiratory program managers to optimize patient outcomes. A valid driver’s license and familiarity with DME are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Medicare-certified HME environment billing insurance preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services helpful.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up PAP/BiPAP equipment and masks with patient instructions.
• Conduct follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes and escalate urgent needs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment per policy.
