Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive care across home, office, and hospital environments. You will train staff, set up PAP equipment, and ensure patients receive timely, compliant services and documentation.

Responsibilities include equipment troubleshooting, patient follow-ups, maintenance, and adherence to HIPAA and company policies while supporting a positive patient experience with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience with respiratory equipment maintenance and basic repairs.
• Familiarity with insurance verification processes and patient billing.
• Strong written and spoken communication; ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department Staff to provide equipment instruction and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with equipment and masks, communicating instructions clearly.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes and escalate urgent needs.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and simple repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines; troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
