Job summary

VitalCheck Wellness seeks a dependable Radiology Patient & Administrative Coordinator to support a mobile mammography screening program across Illinois. This non-clinical role partners with the Mammography Technologist to manage patient check-in, scheduling, paperwork, records, and daily patient flow, enabling the technologist to focus on imaging care.

The position is temporary, with an assignment length of approximately 11 weeks, and travel between Springfield and the Chicago metro area.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
At least two years of administrative, medical front-desk, patient scheduling, or customer service experience preferred.
Experience in medical office, radiology, or hospital setting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and assist with the check-in process.
Confirm patient appointments and verify demographics and contact information.
Provide patients with registration, consent, screening, and medical history forms.
Review paperwork for completeness and follow up on missing information.
Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule mammography appointments.
Coordinate communication among patients, radiology staff, and scheduling teams.
