Brown University Health Mobile (Float) Phlebotomist covers Outreach Patient Service Centers across Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts, traveling to patient homes and facilities to perform venipuncture, register patients, and process specimens per Lifespan policies.

The role requires a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and the ability to work independently with on-call duties. A phlebotomy certification is required; prior experience is preferred.

Formación

• Phlebotomy certification required.
• Prior phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Knowledge of safety, aseptic technique and specimen handling.

Responsabilidades

• Cover Outreach PSCs across RI and nearby MA; travel to patient homes and LTC/assisted living facilities.
• Perform venipuncture, patient registration, test ordering, specimen processing and tracking.
• Maintain supplies and equipment, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation and route optimization to minimize wait times.
• Coach and direct Phlebotomists at assigned locations; collaborate with management.
