Qualifications

• In lieu of phlebotomy certification, 5+ years direct phlebotomy experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other patient specimens following procedures.
• Register patients, verify identity, and document test orders and demographics.
• Prepare and label specimens for transport to the laboratory.
• Maintain records, inventory, and ensure supplies are available.
• Explain procedures to patients and comply with safety and infection control policies.
