Advocate Health is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for the AMG Admin - Facilities in Chicago, IL. This full-time, 1st shift position involves 40 hours per week with possible on-call weekends/holidays and travel within the region.

A valid driver's license is required, and prior maintenance experience is expected. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and documentation in CMMS, supporting hospital operations and patient care environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of equipment maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with codes and standards.
• Documents work using CMMS.
• Maintains and repairs mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, boilers, etc.).
• Maintains patient care equipment (beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables).
• Maintains mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, piping, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Responds to emergencies and on-call situations.
• Reads blueprints and maintenance manuals to complete assignments.
