Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a facility maintenance technician to perform routine, preventative, and general maintenance across multiple systems. You will document activities in the CMMS and ensure safety for patients and staff.

The role requires 2–4 years of equipment maintenance experience, strong painting skills, and proficiency in CMMS, building automation, and MS Office. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with full-time hours and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of equipment maintenance experience.
• Strong painting skills.
• Proficient CMMS, building automation, and MS Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and general maintenance.
• Maintain life safety systems and documentation in CMMS.
• Repair mechanical equipment like motors, pumps, doors, HVAC, etc.
• Respond to emergencies and priority repairs.
• Inspect and read blueprints/maintenance manuals.
