Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and kitchen systems in our facilities. You will assist Mobile Engineers and Control Systems Technicians and perform defined tasks independently.

The role covers lighting, general interior maintenance, HVAC/R-related work, plumbing, painting and locksmith tasks. On-call availability after hours is required, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Preferred: one year of general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing and basic electrical.
• Position requires frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts.
• Assist operations in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
• General interior maintenance – HVAC/R coil cleaning, evaporator coil cleaning, kitchen equipment maintenance (meat grinder, cuber, meat saw, slicers, etc.).
• Minor plumbing repairs.
• Completes special tasks that include but are not limited to; painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned.
• This position requires the employee to be on call for after‑hours emergencies.
• Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
