Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep facilities operating smoothly and safely. The role combines hands-on technical work with preventive maintenance, covering mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to support uninterrupted client operations.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, be able to lift 50 pounds, and possess basic knowledge of building systems.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Demonstrated ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and escalation purposes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Commitment to following all safety procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions impacting client operations.
• Move office furniture and equipment and install fixtures as needed.
• Assist operations with building and equipment maintenance and safety compliance.
• Maintain HVAC systems by cleaning coils and changing filters and belts.
• Submit daily P-card receipts and update work orders in CMMS systems like 360 Facility.
• Escalate issues promptly to customers and management and attend safety meetings.
