Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems, vehicles, and grounds. You will oversee maintenance, review work orders, estimate resources, and implement preventive programs to extend equipment life.

The role requires experience in building operations, knowledge of safety standards, and the ability to coach team members. A valid license and CFC certification support the position at CBRE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee emergency maintenance as needed.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operation within design specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values to build consensus and drive results.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities.
