Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Jacksonville seeks a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.

You will oversee mechanical, plumbing, life safety, HVAC, and control systems; review work orders, estimate materials, and implement preventive maintenance programs while coaching others and upholding CBRE RISE values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time and materials for repairs; manage inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee emergency maintenance.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems to ensure operations meet design specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles as needed and share expertise with team.
