Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Engineer to keep facilities running across HVAC, building systems, and equipment. You’ll be hands-on with maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance on site.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, responding to work orders, managing tools and inventory, and coaching teammates. A stable, customer-focused environment and the CBRE RISE values guide daily work.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of job-related experience are required or equivalently combined with education.
• Universal CFC certification and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time and materials; manage inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance to meet or exceed equipment life while handling repairs and emergencies.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems to ensure operation within design and environmental specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives; operate company vehicles as needed.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and coach others, while modeling CBRE values.
• Lead by example to build consensus and drive improvements across teams.
