Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Territory Manager to operate a fully stocked mobile store and sell industrial hardware directly to customers in a defined geographic territory. The role requires prioritizing cold-calling and prospecting to build a strong customer base and delivering solutions in person.

The ideal candidate will reside in the territory, be able to purchase or lease a mobile store vehicle, and maintain a clean driving history.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales, is preferred.
• Must have a stable work history with no frequent job hopping (ideally up to 3 companies in 10 years).
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills; proficient with databases, spreadsheets, email, and business apps.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and sell by developing new sales prospects, researching markets, referrals, and cold/warm calls.
• Present products and services using sample boards, product demos, and the mobile store.
• Maintain the cleanliness, operation, and marketing of the mobile store and submit daily sales and prospect reports.
• Keep customer contact information up to date in company software.
