Job summary

Top Dog Recruiting is seeking a Territory Manager to operate a fully stocked mobile store and deliver industrial hardware directly to customers in a defined geographic territory across Maine. The role emphasizes cold-calling, prospecting, and face-to-face visits to grow sales and service levels.

You must reside within the territory, be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle, maintain a clean driving history, and be physically able to kneel and bend to access products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher not required; high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong tenure with limited job hopping; ideal candidate has a maximum of 3 companies in the last 10 years.
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational abilities; proficient with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business apps.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and sell: develop new sales prospects via research, referrals, and cold/warm calls; perform face-to-face visits.
• Present solutions: use sample boards, product demos, and your mobile store to showcase offerings.
• Manage operations: maintain mobile store cleanliness, operation, marketing, and reporting of daily sales/orders.
• Data integrity: keep customer contact information up-to-date in company software.
