Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc in Portland, ME is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales for our mobile industrial hardware store in a defined geographic territory. You will prospect, cold-call, and visit local businesses to present the product line via your fully stocked mobile store.

The role requires a strong independent work ethic, a clean driving history, and the ability to manage store operations and daily reports. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Outside industrial sales experience is preferred.
Tenure: ideally max 3 companies in past 10 years.
Strong analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills; proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email and common business applications.

Responsibilities

Prospect & Sell: Develop new sales prospects and make face-to-face calls on cold and warm prospects near existing customers.
Present Solutions: Demonstrate products and services using sample boards, product demos, and your mobile store.
Manage Operations: Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing and functionality of your mobile store; submit daily reports of sales orders and calls.
Data Integrity: Keep customer contact information up to date in company software.
