Job summary

Management Performance Associates seeks a Territory Manager to deliver mobile industrial hardware directly to customers within a defined New York territory. The role relies on cold-calling, prospecting, and face-to-face sales from a fully stocked mobile store.

Ideal candidates reside in the territory, can purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle, maintain a clean driving history, and possess the physical ability to kneel and bend. Prior industrial sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales, is preferred.
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications is expected.
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect & Sell: Develop new sales prospects near existing customers and make face-to-face calls on cold and warm prospects.
• Present Solutions: Use sample boards, product demos, and your mobile store to convey value.
• Manage Operations: Keep the mobile store clean, functional, and report daily sales and prospect activity.
• Data Integrity: Maintain customer contact info and notes in company software.
