Job summary

Joseph Michaels International in Wisconsin is seeking a Territory Manager to bring our mobile industrial hardware store directly to customers across a defined geographic area. The role relies on cold-calling, prospecting, and face-to-face meetings to grow the territory.

Candidates must reside in the territory, be able to purchase or lease a mobile store vehicle, maintain a clean driving record, and show the stamina to kneel and bend as you operate the mobile store and complete daily reports.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales, is preferred.
• Must have a strong tenured background, with a maximum of 3 companies over the past 10 years.
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills are required.
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications is expected.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and a proven history of goal attainment.

Responsibilities

• Prospect & Sell: Develop new sales prospects and call on businesses near existing customers, with face-to-face visits.
• Present Solutions: Demonstrate products and services using sample boards, product demos, and the mobile store.
• Manage Operations: Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the mobile store and submit daily business reports.
• Data Integrity: Keep customer details updated in company software.
