Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Mobile Engineer in Los Angeles, CA to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems. The candidate should specialize in one craft area (electrical, HVAC, or plumbing) and be multi-skilled across related trades.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and coordination with the Facility Management team. On-site duties include responding to client needs and maintaining optimal system performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two years of college or related trade schooling.
• Minimum of four years’ experience in the electrician trade or related field – or minimum of four-years’ experience in the HVAC/refrigeration trade or related field.
• HVAC technicians must have a Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
• Licenses as required by authority having jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, repair HVAC systems and electrical distribution equipment across assigned facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to work orders for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Assist with safety inspections and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Record readings, monitor contractor work, and escalate issues to management.
• Support Emergency response for incidents and safety events.
