Job summary

Yancey Bros Co is seeking a skilled Rental Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair rental equipment in the field across Georgia. You will use diagnostic tools, source parts, and perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read manuals and schematics, and the discipline to document work accurately. A CDL may be required, and overtime is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot field equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems and welding is a plus.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and repair procedures with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose heavy equipment in the field and locate mechanical deficiencies.
• Source and order parts as needed and use diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Perform repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and inspect safety standards.
• Complete work orders, wage sheets, and maintenance logs accurately and on time.
• Operate equipment and maintain a clean vehicle and job-site appearance.
