Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Rental Field Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair rental equipment in the field across Georgia. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and perform welding and fabrication as needed.

Candidates must supply their own tools, operate heavy equipment, and complete tasks accurately while adhering to safety procedures. A CDL may be required; overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, computer and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals and technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills and Windows-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot and locate mechanical deficiencies on heavy equipment.
• Source and order parts as needed.
• Use diagnostic equipment to diagnose issues.
• Repair or replace components of diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Perform welding and brazing and fabricate parts as required.
• Complete work orders and time sheets accurately and timely.
• Operate equipment with required licenses and certifications and comply with safety standards.
