Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co is seeking a Rental Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service rental equipment in the field. You will handle mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, using diagnostic tools and maintaining safety standards.

Candidates must furnish their own tools, operate heavy equipment, and complete work orders promptly. A CDL may be required, with overtime on short notice and a strong emphasis on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, computer and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on heavy equipment.
• Source and order parts as needed.
• Use diagnostic equipment properly.
• Repair or replace components of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
