Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Rental Field Service Technician in Georgia. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair on‑site rental equipment across heavy, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems while handling parts sourcing and safety procedures.

Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read schematics, and a valid driver’s license are required; overtime may be necessary, and you must maintain accurate records and vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documents.
• Driver's license required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose heavy equipment to identify mechanical deficiencies.
• Source and order parts as needed and document availability.
• Operate diagnostic equipment safely and accurately.
• Repair and replace components in diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Complete work orders and time sheets; maintain safety and quality standards.
