Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a skilled Rental Shop Technician to diagnose and repair a range of rental and customer equipment. You will work with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems and welding, ensuring safety, quality, and timely service.

The role requires the ability to read manuals, follow procedures, and document all work orders. A strong team focus and customer service mindset are essential to support Georgia customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of complex hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and read manuals.
• Proficient with basic computer applications and email communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot heavy equipment diesel engines and components.
• Repair or replace components of frame assemblies, drive trains, electrical systems, and brakes.
• Determine extent of repairs and prepare service orders.
• Tune up engines and diagnose computer controls and A/C components.
• Perform welding and brazing and fabricate parts as needed.
• Complete documentation like work orders and time sheets accurately.
