Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Macon, GA seeks a Rental Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair rental equipment in the field. You will perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, source parts, and complete work orders while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate heavy equipment and tools. CDL may be required; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Welding experience (arc and oxy-acetylene).
• Ability to read and follow manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Basic computer skills (Windows programs and email).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on heavy equipment.
• Source and order parts as needed.
• Use diagnostic equipment properly.
• Repair components of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and A/C systems.
• Perform welding and fabricating as required.
• Complete work orders and maintain records accurately.
• Operate equipment with required licenses and certificates.
