Job summary

InTown Suites seeks a Floating General Manager to oversee operations at assigned properties when the General Manager is unavailable. You will cover days off, vacations, and short-term assignments across our Indianapolis market.

The role emphasizes guest service, staff training, and local marketing, with cost controls to protect budgets. Travel is required to cover multiple properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of management experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work long hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate properties in the absence of a General Manager.
• Follow daily GM flow when acting as a General Manager.
• Develop expertise on computer operating system.
• Assist in recruiting General Managers and staff.
• Train and mentor property staff.
• Drive sales through local marketing.
• Ensure excellent guest service.
• Identify and report maintenance issues.
• Address life/safety issues and inspections.
• Travel to other properties; overnight stays may be required.
