Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Service Diesel Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair on-site diesel equipment in the field.

You will work with our customers, perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, and maintain accurate work orders and vehicle records. The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of heavy equipment systems, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain DOT and other required certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of heavy equipment systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical issues.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to obtain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment diesel engines and components.
• Prepare work orders and source parts as needed.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and perform welding or fabrication as required.
• Maintain accurate time sheets and service documentation.
