Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co in Georgia is seeking a Rental Field Service Technician - Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair our rental equipment in the field. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and source necessary parts.

You must supply your own tools, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to work overtime. Experience with diesel engines and hydraulics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• 5+ years of relevant field service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Clear DOT & MVR checks and drug screening may be required.
• Ability to obtain or maintain CDL if required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment in the field.
• Source and order parts as needed and document work orders.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and air conditioning.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and safely, including warranties.
