Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform facility maintenance across Jacksonville retail sites. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general building repairs, with a company vehicle, tools, and uniform supplied.

You will manage work orders, prioritize tasks, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 4–5 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license, plus CFC certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 4–5 years related experience.
• Must hold Universal CFC certification.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Apple products.
• Ability to adapt to multiple trades and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural and control systems for the facility.
• Review inspections of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems to ensure operation within design specs.
• Estimate time and materials for repairs and respond to work orders.
• Maintain truck stock inventory to ensure supplies and tools are available.
• Perform preventive maintenance and supervise repairs and emergency work as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work duties.
• Apply standard principles to complex tasks and provide innovative solutions.
• Lead by example in CBRE RISE values and build consensus.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
