Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical and control systems at retail facilities in the Springfield area. The role requires experience with HVAC, inspections, and safety compliance, along with a valid driver’s license and a Universal CFC certification.

You will manage time, coordinate work orders, and maintain truck stock while performing preventive maintenance and handling emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 4–5 years of related experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• Universal CFC certification and valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, lifting 50 lbs+).
• Proficiency with MS Office; Service Channel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural and control systems for the facility to keep systems up to standards.
• Review inspections of building HVAC, plumbing and electrical to ensure operation meets design conditions.
• Demonstrate time management; estimate completion times and materials for repairs.
• Maintain truck stock inventory to ensure supplies and tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and oversee repairs and emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles for daily work.
• Apply standard principles to complex tasks and provide innovative solutions.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
