Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance and repairs for facilities across multiple sites in southern Portland. The role emphasizes independence, problem solving, and ensuring efficient operation of building systems.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license; physical work and CMMS proficiency are required. The position offers a company vehicle and tools as part of the package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, trade school diploma or 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Universal CFC/EPA Universal certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and repairs across mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety and control systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and manage inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
• Review inspections of HVAC, fire alarms and plumbing for design compliance.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles as part of daily duties.
