Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, industrial systems, and grounds. You will oversee mechanical, plumbing, life safety, and control systems, review work orders, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or trade cert, a valid driver's license, and CFC certification, with supervisory experience preferred. You will manage maintenance programs, coordinate with teams, and apply problem-solving

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Universal CFC certification required.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads (50 lbs+).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time/materials; manage inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and handle emergency maintenance as needed.
• Review inspections of building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for proper operation.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles to perform daily tasks.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to complex assignments and propose solutions.
• Coach and share knowledge with team members; lead by example per CBRE values.
