Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to keep facilities running across HVAC, building systems, and equipment. You’ll be the frontline expert ensuring reliability, safety, and performance wherever you're needed.

As part of CBRE, you’ll oversee maintenance, manage work orders, and implement preventive programs while complying with codes and safety directives. This role requires hands-on problem solving and a readiness to lead by example.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role (lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to facility systems to meet standards.
• Review work orders, estimate materials, and manage inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee emergency maintenance.
• Review inspections of building systems to ensure safe operation.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work responsibilities.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across related disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE values.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, and project activities.
