Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer to handle preventive maintenance and repairs for buildings, industrial systems, and related equipment. The role spans evaluating systems, coordinating parts, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on-site.

You will work within Engineering and Technical Services, supporting preventive maintenance and on-call repairs to keep facilities running efficiently and within client specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, combination of experience and education may be considered.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, and life safety systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and manage inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety policies.
• Operate company vehicles and provide innovative solutions.
• Mentor others and share knowledge across multiple disciplines.
