Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Engineer responsible for preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing support and repairs across equipment and systems.

You will oversee maintenance programs, review inspections, ensure safety compliance, and coach others while delivering innovative solutions in a CBRE environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or trade school with 4–5 years of experience; diploma alternatives considered.
• Universal CFC certification and a valid driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of the mechanical, industrial, plumbing, and safety systems for the facility.
• Review work orders and estimate time, materials; manage inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life; oversee repairs and emergency maintenance.
• Review building/industrial system inspections (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for design compliance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles for daily tasks.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values to build consensus.
• Impact a range of activities within teams and related groups while following broad guidelines.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.
