Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building and industrial systems. You will review work orders, estimate resources, and oversee preventive programs to ensure reliability and safety across facilities in the Louisville area.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Universal CFC certification, a valid driver's license, and supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or trade school diploma plus 4–5 years of experience.
Universal CFC certification and valid driver's license are required.
Experience in shift management or supervision is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance and repairs for mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety systems.
Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and maintain tool inventory.
Implement preventive maintenance programs and supervise emergency repairs.
Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety policies.
Operate company vehicles and apply standard procedures to complex tasks.
Coach colleagues and share knowledge within the function.
Lead by example and support CBRE RISE value adoption.
Explain difficult information clearly to stakeholders.
