Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to keep facilities running smoothly, handling hands-on maintenance across HVAC, building systems, and equipment. You will oversee repairs, implement preventive programs, review inspections, and ensure safety and compliance on-site.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 4–5 years of related experience, Universal CFC certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver's license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to meet or exceed equipment life and perform emergency repairs.
• Review inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure proper operation.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work duties.
• Share knowledge and mentor others across multiple disciplines.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values across teams.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information clearly.
