Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Engineer to keep facilities running smoothly across HVAC, building systems and equipment.

You will handle hands-on maintenance, review work orders, and implement preventive programs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires a high school diploma or trade-level certification with 4–5 years of related experience, plus a valid driver’s license and Universal CFC certification.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and valid driver's license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and meet physical requirements.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
• In-depth knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and maintain inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee repairs and emergencies.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems for compliance with design specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles as part of daily duties.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to solve complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values.
• Impact customer, operational and service activities within teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information clearly.
