Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.

This role sits within the Engineering and Technical Services group, providing support and maintenance across equipment and systems to meet client standards. The candidate will review work orders, estimate time and materials, implement preventive maintenance programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and coach teammates while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school/Certs valued.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs across facilities.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility to keep building systems up to standards.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and manage inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and handle emergencies.
• Review inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation within design specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company-issued vehicles in daily duties.
• Apply deep knowledge to solve complex facility challenges and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines; lead by example.
