Job summary

Rivian Automotive is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. The role may travel to various locations, including the production plant, to provide vehicle support as business needs demand.

A collaborative, team-oriented approach and strong problem-solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have automotive shop experience, EV/ hybrid repair exposure, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Proficient with Windows or Mac computers.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle diagnosis, repairs, and inspections at service centers or in the field.
Identify Rivian product line, EV framework, tools and accessories.
Follow Rivian repair procedures with quality and safety.
Conduct road tests to verify repairs.
Manage parts operations including ordering and inventory.
Document work and technical notes for internal/external use.
Communicate professionally with customers and team.
Stay current with technical skills and training.
