Job summary

Rivian Automotive seeks an entry-to-mid level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations. You will work under senior technicians, gaining hands-on experience across service centers, mobile routes, and plant support.

Strong communication and a passion for adventure help you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Based primarily at a local service center, the role may involve remote work, travel for mobile service, and evolving plant operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or recognized equivalency credential preferred.
• 0–3 years of hands-on experience in an automotive shop or technical environment; open to recent graduates.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Flexibility for travel to regional locations or production facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures, maintain safety and quality standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations, inventory, and work orders; document repairs thoroughly.
• Interact professionally with customers and partners.
