Job summary

Rivian in Florida seeks an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service. You will work under senior technicians and leadership, delivering excellent customer experiences while growing technical skills at Rivian service centers or on mobile routes.

The role may involve remote work, travel to regional locations, and potential plant operations support as business needs evolve.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
21+ years old minimum.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Graduation from auto repair school/program highly preferred.
0–3 years hands-on automotive/tech experience.
Exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
Follow repair procedures and safety guidelines without compromising quality or safety.
Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety.
Assist with parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory, and cost reporting.
Maintain detailed technical notes and documentation for repairs.
Interact professionally with customers, families, third-party affiliates, and suppliers at service facilities or outreach events.
Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns.
Engage in required training and stay current with evolving technical skills.
