Job summary

Rivian in New York is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. The role may involve work at service centers, in customers’ homes, or on mobile routes, and requires a collaborative, customer-focused approach.

You will diagnose, repair, install, test drive, and document work, coordinate parts, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Rivian procedures in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must be available for a 40-hour work week including weekends or shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers or in the field.
• Identify Rivian product line, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow Rivian repair procedures with focus on safety and quality.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations including ordering and inventory.
• Document all work and technical notes for internal/external use.
