Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Mobile Engineer to lead preventive maintenance and repairs of facility systems, vehicles, and grounds. You will review work orders, estimate materials, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across building operations.

Responsibilities include coaching teammates, applying engineering principles to complex tasks, and driving cross-team collaboration to meet client specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility.
• Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs and maintain inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
• Review inspections of building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work.
• Apply standard principles to accomplish complex tasks and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge within the function.
• Lead by example and drive consensus across teams.
