Job summary

MC Machinery Systems Inc. seeks an electro-mechanical field service technician to support Mitsubishi Sinker EDM equipment nationwide.

You will diagnose complex failures on-site, realign assemblies, and verify repairs with precise measurements, ensuring machines return to production quickly. You'll travel extensively (primarily within the U.S.) with some international trips, provide expert troubleshooting by phone when appropriate, and mentor customers through quick fixes.

Qualifications

• Two-year electronic or technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• CNC programming exposure (G-code/M-code) is advantageous.
• Strong communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex failures and complete on-site restoration of EDM systems.
• Disassemble, rebuild, and test mechanical/electrical subsystems to original spec.
• Provide expert telephone/troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Engage customers with professional, solution-focused communication.
• Use schematics to identify root causes and verify fixes.
• Maintain thorough records of issues, actions, and outcomes.
