Job summary

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. is seeking a Sinker EDM Field Service Technician to repair, troubleshoot and test Mitsubishi Machining products at customer sites across the United States. This is a 100% travel role, with Monday–Friday work and potential international assignments.

On-site service is performed at customer facilities and remote support by phone is available when feasible. Candidates should read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams, perform electrical measurements, and communicate

Qualifications

• 2-year electronic or technical degree or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical measurement and inspection techniques (voltmeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Reading mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose and repair on-site.
• Dismantle, repair and rebuild machines as needed.
• Troubleshoot remotely via telephone when required.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Interpret schematics and block diagrams to troubleshoot issues.
• Document product problems and resolutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
