Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-year electronic or technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Skilled in electrical measurement and inspection techniques (voltmeters, oscilloscopes).
• Skilled in mechanical measurement and inspection techniques (dial indicators, micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex problems and perform on-site repair.
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically to repair by dismantling and rebuilding as needed.
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
• Document in detail product problems and resolutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
