MC Machinery Systems in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking an EDM Field Applications Technician to train customers on Mitsubishi EDM and Sinker machines, install and service at customer sites, and troubleshoot process and performance issues. Qualifications

Associate's or technical degree preferred.
3 years of set up and operation of S/EDM machines in a shop environment.
Familiarity with mechanical/electrical equipment repair and testing devices.
CAD/CAM experience such as MasterCam, AutoCAD, and ESPIRIT.

Responsibilities

Follow-up and verify machine installations/alignments.
Provide customer support via telephone on application and operation issues.
Solve machine problems at customer sites to improve performance of the laser machinery.
Provide technical training to customers in classroom and field.
Phone support to customers and service personnel as needed.
System software testing and duplication; perform proving tests on new machine system software.
Develop training manuals, workbooks and sample projects.
